Description
The Castle of Upper Maribor is described from the cultural and historical point of view. The paper presents its building, arcitectural composition, spatial functionality and dwelling conditions at the time of the High Middle Ages, when it played an important role as the main castle of the marsh of Podravje. This changed during the 13th century when it became a seat of a middle-sized manorial estate.
