Today the Dominican monastery of Novi Klošter at Založe near Polzela, dating from the middle of the I5th. century is younger in its building structure. The northern tract and the northern half of the eastern tract date from the first half of the 16th century, the south-western tract is from the year 1690, the western one from about 1746, the southern half of the eastern tract and the present church of St. Dominic from the years 1827—1831. During these years the monastery had been rebuilt into a manor-house, whose front was neogothicized about the year I860. The building, upkept regularly till the last war, is now serving housing purposes, but it is half abandoned, since its eastern and southern tract together with the church are resigned to ruin.
