On the western border of Maribor where the warmth of tile sun has ripened the fruits of the vineyards since eight hundred year now on a green meadow under the hill »Račji breg« the chateau »Račji dvor« is situated which is mentioned so often in the Middle Ages in connection with the town. The chateau and the belonging estate consisting primarily of vineyards was sold in 1279 by the German Knighthood to the Admont abbey in Upper Styria.

      • Na zahodnem robu mesta Maribora, kjer že skozi osemsto let toplota sonca žlahti sadove vinskih goric, stoji še danes sredi zelene livade pod Račjim bregom dvor z imenom Račji dvor, v srednjem veku tolikokrat omenjen v zvezi z mestom. Dvor in k njemu pripadajočo posest, sestoječo se predvsem iz kulture vinske trte, je 1279 nemški viteški red prodal benediktinski opatiji Admont na Zgornjem Štajerskem.
