On the life jubilees of Jože Kerenčič, Ivan Potrč and dr. Jože Potrč, humanist from the Ptuj environment, the authoress links landmarks in their lives and their intellectual development with the backward socio-economic situation between the two World Wars. The peasant question, poverty and social injustice had a substantial impact upon the formation of these personalities. Social justice was their entire lifetime guide.
