Description
The author deals with the organisation and operations of the Maribor hospital
during the Nazi occupation. In a rather detailed manner, personnel changes,
the Occupier's measures against Slovene physisicians, space conditions, and
some data on the hospitalisation of patients are given, along with those on
the taking part by the hospital personnel in the resistance movement in
Maribor. He found that Slovene physicans in the Maribor hospital, by their
self-sacrificing and courage, saved many lives and health to the collaborators
of the resistance movement or assisted them in snatching away from the
Gestapo.

- Avtor obravnava organiziranost in delovanje mariborske bolnišnice v času nacistične okupacije. Precej na drobno je obdelal kadrovske spremembe, okupatorjeve ukrepe proti slovenskim zdravnikom, prostorske razmere, nanizal nekaj podatkov o hospitalizaciji bolni kov ter vključenosti bolnišničnega osebja v odporniško gibanje v Mariboru. Pri tem je ugotovil, da so slovenski zdravniki v mariborski bolnišnici s svojo požrtvovalnostjo in pogumom mnogim sodelavcem odporniškega gibanja reševali življenja in zdravje ali jim pomagali izmakniti se gestapu.
