Description
The author presents, on the basis of reviewing parish registers, in the Bishopric Archives in Maribor, archival material in the Historical Archives in Ptuj and adequate literature collected primarily in Ormož digests from 1973, 1983, 1988 and 1993, a two hundred year development of civil construction in Ormož and he simultaneously presents data on fine artists, who had, in a significant number, settled in the township in the second half of tho XVIII. century, remaining without successors after 1820.

- Avtor v članku na osnovi pregleda župnijskih matrik v Škofijskem arhivu v Mariboru, arhivalij v Zgodovinskem arhivu v Ptuju in ustrezne literature, zbrane predvsem v ormoških zbornikih iz let 1973, 1983, 1988 in 1993, prikaže dvestoletni razvoj gradbeništva v Ormožu, obenem pa tudi predstavi podatke o likovnih umetnikih, ki so v relativno velikem številu naseljevali mesto v 2. polovici 18. stoletja, a po 1820 ostali brez nasledstva.
