Description
The author reconstructs, on the basis of archival sources, the development of Ptuj civil construction between the end of the XVI and the end of the XIX century. He concludes that it was not modest at all, as is usually thought of. During all these centuries civil construction was organised through guilds and mostly limited to its territory, though in certain cases it surpassed this frame, as to the geographic, the quality and even the artistic aspect.

      • Avtor v sestavku na osnovi arhivskih virov rekonstruira razvoj ptujskega gradbeništva med koncem 16. in koncem 19. stoletja ter ugotavlja, da sploh ni bilo tako skromno, kot se navadno misli. Vsa ta stoletja je bilo cehovsko organizirano ter v glavnem omejeno na svoje območje, vendar pa je v nekaj primerih preseglo ta okvir tako po geografski kot po kvalitetni in celo umetnostni plati.
