Description
The article treats the railwaymen's contribution to the National Liberation War in Slovenian Styria. The author puts out some main characteristics of that war. He particularly describes the raiwaymen´s preparation for the armed revolt and their participation in various forms of the National Liberation War in all four years. The occupier's act of violence came also upon the railwayman. The author especially calls attention to the importance of the partisan's attacks on railway lines and objects and to the air-raids, in which the railwaymen were in some way involved. The article is brings to a conclusion by the author's estimation of the railwaymen's share in the common National Liberation War.

      • Članek obravnava prispevek železničarjev na slovenskem Štajerskem v osvobodilnem boju. Avtor izpostavi nekatere glavne značilnosti tega boja. Posebej predstavi priprave železničarjev na oboroženo vstajo in njihovo sodelovanje v raznih oblikah osvobodilnega boja v vseh štirih letih. Okupatorjevo nasilje je doseglo tudi železničarje. Avtor posebej poudari pomen partizanskih napadov na železniške proge in objekte ter letalskih napadov, pri katerih so na svoj način sodelovali tudi železničarji. Članek zaključi z oceno deleža slovenskih železničarjev v skupnem narodnoosvobodilnem boju.
