Description
Discussed are 6 of the 12 most important buildings in Maribor. These are the Celestine Monastery (with St. Paul's manor-house), the Vetrinje mansion and Salzburg mansion, the town-hall, the baronial manor and the synagogue. Apart from general description of these buildings there is no literature treating them from the historical and analytical point of view. Therefore, the results of this investigation for the most part differ from the traditional representation and they prove that this method of work if applied to other important buildings in the town would give similar results.
