In the Styrian country archives in Graz a great part or the preserved declarations for the poll-tax from 1527 has been guarded. Mostly they are from the present Austrian part of Styrla, rather a lot of them are from its Slovene part. The census represents the oldest historical source of the personal presentation of nearly 14,000 of our people, over 12 years old, for an extraordinary multitude. They lived or were born during the storm of the greatest Slovene subjects' rebellion. 461 years later we may wonder about the eloquence of this excellent historical message.

      • V Štajerskem deželnem arhivu v Gradcu čuvajo veliki del ohranjenih prijav za glavarino 1527. Zvečina so iz sedanjega avstrijskega dela Štajerske, precej jih je iz njenega slovenskega dela. Popis predstavlja najstarejši zgodovinski vir za izjemno množično osebno predstavo blizu 14.000 naših nad 12 let starih ljudi. Živeli in rojevali so se v vihri največjega slovenskega podložniškega punta. Po 461. letih se lahko čudimo zgovornosti tega odličnega zgodovinskega sporočila.
