Description

Valdek is a Romanic castle from the l2th century on the ground where the roads from the east and from the south met and swept down into the valley of Mislinja over the guards and over Graška gora (Mount of Gradec). This has conditioned its existence up to the time when the estate moved away to Legen and Slovenj Gradec. Thus the castle lost its existential reasonableness and already in the third quarter of the 17th century it fell to ruins.

      • Valdek je romanski grad iz 12. stoletja na zemljišču, kjer so se srečevale ceste iz vzhoda in Juga ter se prek Straž In Graške gore spuščale v Mislinjsko dolino. To je pogojilo njegov obstoj dotlej, dokler se ni gospostvo odselilo v Legen in Slovenj Gradec. S tem je grad izgubil svoj obstojni smisel in se že v 3. četrtini 17. stoletja spremenil v razvalino.
