Description
The article deals with the building development of 37 market towns and cities of Slovenian Styria in the nineteenth century, it adds to those settlements 2 Carinthian and 2 market towns from Prekmurje and also 33 settlements that belong here not by their position but because of their development; they have namely, surpassed the rural conception of village and they have assumed the urban characteristics either in their around organisation, communal arragement or their architectural image. Among above mentioned settlements there are nevertheless, few of them that have created the conditions for their own modern development. It concerns the towns: Celje, Maribor, (Ptuj), Hrastnik, Šoštani, Trbovlje Velenje, Ravne and Murska Sobota.

      • Sestavek obravnava gradbeni razvoj 37 slovenještajerskih trgov in mest v 19. stol.
