Description
Hedwig von Radics-Kaltenbrunner (1845-1919), the daughter of Karl Adam Kaltenbrunner (1804-1867), a poet from Upper Austria, married Peter Radics (1836-1912) in Vienna 1867. The couple was very active in Viennese social lifeand was among the founders of the Grillparzer Literary Society. In 1876 they moved to Ljubljana. Hedwig collected materials about German authors in Carniola, edited her father's literary heritage, opened a lending library, andwrote for foreign papers. After the death of her husband in 1912, she collected his manuscripts and published them in the Nagl-Zeidler's German-Austrian Literary History.
