Description
The author presents first a brief survey of the process of colonization in the territory at the bottom of the eastern Pohorje, he discusses the most significant manorial estates in this territory, and he also, presents its economic and social image in the Middle Ages. When discussing Betnava, about which there are preserved relatively few documents in archives, the author first dwells upon the first mentioning of the property around the year 1100, then he enumerates a number of its proprietors until the twentieth century, and he discusses its manorial estates at some length on the basis of individual estimation of manorial estates from 1542.
