Description
On the basis of the documents and printed sources from the Historical Record Office Ljubljana, Archbishop’s Archives Ljubljana and Archivo General de Indias in Sevilla the contribution presents the missionary work of the Ljubljana townsman Adolf Steinhäuser in the Philippines. Steinhäuser is important to our cultural history mainly as the first Jesuit from the Slovene territory who is known to have gone as a missionary.
