Description
The essay refers to the significance of the Health-resort Commission of Bled for the development of tourism. The Commission was founded in the latter half of the 19th century and ceased working at the beginning of the Second War. From the end of World War 1 to 1924 or 1925, its tasks were performed by the health-resort section at the Bled Commune. The article deals with the personnel of this organization, with its financial sources and ambitiously planned tourist activities.
