Description
Based on documents from the University Archives in Vienna, the author published the lists of students from the Kočevje region. The documents consist of main matriculation registers (Hauptmatrikeln) which are preserved as a whole in twenty-eight books. The information about the matriculation registers are commented on. They represent a source for further research into the inhabitants of the Kočevje region with higher education. The article deals only with the students from the University of Vienna and its four faculties (Philosophy, Medicine, Theology and Law)
