Description
The article presents the historical source "Instruction des Bürgerlichen Spittals" (1718) which in point number twenty specifies the daily menus for the patients, and as an added point of interest, draws a comparison with the circumstances prevailing elsewhere in Europe as presented by Fernand Braudel.
