Description
The paper reveals a practically thoroughly unknown episode in the life of a Lower Styrian ministerial who spent a decade holding important offices in the service of Louis V of Brandenburg in Tyrol in mid-14th century, thus acquiring an extensive estate. Even though his actions did not go unnoticed by the German-speaking historiography, his identity either remained unrecognised or was misinterpreted.
