Despite defending in that time the rooted model of religious-moral education, which based on the apostolic
authority, Lampe considered children as holistic personalities and not as juvenile and incomplete. In
ensuring the educational and pedagogical goals he was avoiding the use of repressive methods, because he

encouraging a religious pedagogical approach which based on the equality of all people and sincere friendship
of all classes and age. That way he was making a positive move from traditional patriarchal to modern,
democratic human relations.
