Description
On the basis of available sources the author tries to give a picture of the prebend estate development from first being mentioned in the 13th century till its greatest extent in the 18th century. The primary estate extended in the immediate surroundings of Ljubljana and to the north of the river Sava. The Order became an important land-owner in the regions of Dolenjska and Bela krajina as well. The period from the 16th century till the beginning of the 18th was the time of loosing some minor parts of the estate. In 1739 the estate reached its greatest expanse.

- Avtor poskuša s pomočjo razpoložljivih virov podati sliko razvoja komendske posesti od prvih omemb v 13. do največjega obsega posesti v 18. stoletju. Prvotna posest je ležala v neposredni okolici Ljubljane ter severno od Save. V 14. stoletju je postal red pomemben zemljiški gospod tudi na Dolenjskem in Beli Krajini. Obdobje od 16. do začetka 18. stoletja pomeni čas izgub nekaterih manjših delov posesti, ki prenehajo leta 1739, ko je velikost gospostva dosegla svoj vrh.
