  • Podroben opis
nemščini in to celo v gotici.
izkazati v vseh delovnih fazah.
poleg takratnega načelnika občine in nekaj drugih članov sestavljala še
univerzitetni profesor dr. R. Kyovski in profesorica Vedamova.

      • The contribution describes my memories of first employment in the Ljubljana Municipal Archives. Dr. Sergij Vilfan was an authority in the real sense of the term. Everyone was afraid of him; since he knew what each person was doing, and was critical of any work that did not meet his Standards of archiving. He wanted us to strive to be the best in our work. One of Dr. Vilfan's specialities was to hold a professional meeting every Monday morning at the Ljubljana Municipal Archives, exactly at eight o'clock, at which we could discuss any problems that had occurred at work the previous work. Each of us had to make a weekly working plan and anyone who did not manage to do the work in the time set, had to give Dr. Vilfan good reasons. That was no joke. He wanted everyone to judge himself how much work he could do in a week. I think that these were genuinely good ideas that could be applied today, too. Very good Cooperation with his subordinates was characteristic of Dr. Vilfan. He knew how to motivate us for work and he also enjoyed every individual's success, as well as the success of the whole collective. He could also be very sociable, which we all experienced when the whole collective, with him at its head, prepared a collective exhibition. Prof. dr. Sergij Vilfan was a great personality, a real authority of Slovene archive studies. Anyone who worked with him, if he wanted to follow his working guidelines learned how to work for the whole oflife. He was an extremely well-respected expert in the field of archive studies, not only in Slovenia but also in the then Yugoslavia and throughout Europe.
